I realize cross-drilled have no performance gains, and if done incorrectly can lead to weak spots that crack.... I got these mainly for the large surface area that will disipate heat and provide less brake fade... Oh, and slotted rotors do have a performance function... They will clear the pads of any glazing or contaminations... p.s. just in case you are curious, my 9-5 everyday is as an engineer that works on brake systems for one of the largest OEM suppliers in the business.....
